简介：翁山苏姬3岁时，其父亲翁山带领缅甸走向独立，其后遭行刺身亡。翁山苏姬长大后移居英国，与一名大学教授阿里斯结婚，生活美满。直至她的母亲病危，昂山素姬才回到她的祖国缅甸。翁山苏姬到医院探望母亲时，遇见很多在8888民主运动中遭缅甸军队镇压而受伤的人，这事激发起她的政治抱负。她明白自己身为翁山的女儿，理应带领缅甸人民争取自主，并开展政治活动。翁山苏姬成立全国民主同盟参与选举，并获国会大多数议席，但军方拒绝交出权力，反而决定要完全控制翁山苏姬。军方拆散翁山苏姬的家庭，把她软禁家中超过10年，并禁止她的丈夫和两名儿子入境。但他们在境外争取国际对翁山苏姬认可，因为这样才能保证她不会被忘记，也不会无声无色地失踪。因她家人的努力，翁山苏姬成为第一个获选诺贝尔和平奖的亚洲女性。但她和家人依然分隔两地，未能亲身出席和平奖颁奖礼。她甚至无法看见丈夫去世前最后一面。

简介：Lebanon, 1982.
