《法医密档》以一个个经典案例为载体，从法医的视角讲述案件侦破的过程，将刑事科学技术与刑侦紧密结合。例如死亡时间的概念，《法医密档》中就会对死亡时间做详细的介绍。法医是通过什么方式，能够精准的推算出死者的死亡时间，进而为刑侦人员提供可靠的破案依据。除了“死亡时间”之外，还有如何确定“死者身份”、如何通过一滴干枯的血迹寻找凶手等等。节目在破解案件的同时，也在传递法医“为死者代言，为生者谋权”的职业精神。
The crooks in London know how it works. No one carries guns and no one resists the police. Then a new gang appears that go one better. They dress as police and steal from the crooks.
