本剧改编自同名漫画。38岁的麦卷聪子（樱井由纪 饰）因患上需终身共存的疾病，不得不辞职并搬入一座建成45年的公寓。在这里，她结识了房东美山铃（加贺麻理子 饰）和有着特殊经历的料理人司（宫泽冰鱼 饰），并通过他们接触到药膳，以饮食调养身心。在邻里和职场关系的影响下，聪子逐渐学会接受不完美的自己，找到属于自己的生活方式。温暖而治愈的故事，如同一碗热粥，缓缓滋养身心，让她意识到幸福其实一直近在咫尺。
